Powered by the ShellyX chip, the thermostat delivers full Shelly functionality and integrates effortlessly with leading smart home platforms. With built‑in WiFi and Bluetooth, it connects directly to your network without needing a hub. It also doubles as a WiFi range extender and BLE gateway, strengthening your entire smart home setup.
The ST1820 directly controls heating valves and supports loads up to 2A resistive or 1A inductive. A built‑in dry contact relay allows it to switch gas boilers, pellet stoves, and other heat sources on and off as required. For electric underfloor heating, it works alongside a Shelly relay to automatically regulate heat based on your selected temperature, offering flexibility across a wide range of heating configurations.
Designed with safety and accuracy in mind, the thermostat includes an anti‑freeze function that maintains a minimum temperature during extended absences, helping to prevent frozen or burst pipes. Built‑in temperature and humidity sensors, along with adjustable offsets, ensure accurate readings and consistent indoor comfort.
With full Shelly automation capabilities, you can create schedules and scenes to heat your home only when needed. Automations can be based on time, sunrise or sunset, or triggered by other smart devices, helping reduce energy consumption and lower running costs. The intuitive interface keeps things simple, making it easy to set and adjust your ideal room temperature.
