The Shelly Plus 1 Gen3 is designed to automate a wide variety of home and office appliances—from lighting and heating to blinds and other everyday devices. Its compact size and straightforward wiring make it easy to install directly inside existing electrical boxes, even in tight spaces. With a single 16A channel, it can be fitted behind switches, sockets, wall boxes and other standard fixtures for seamless retrofitting.

Building on the capabilities of the original Shelly Plus 1, the Gen3 version introduces a more powerful chipset that delivers faster responses and improved efficiency. It also brings several quality‑of‑life upgrades, including stronger terminals, support for virtual components and the option to upgrade to Matter, helping ensure long‑term compatibility within an evolving smart‑home ecosystem
