Description
The Shelly 1 Gen4 is a compact, powerful and flexible smart relay designed for installation behind existing electrical appliances, allowing them to be connected to the internet and integrated into a broader smart home or office system. It offers a single channel and supports loads up to 16A, making it well suited for lighting, heating, bi-directional motors such as roller shutters and blinds, and many other electrical devices.
The 1 Gen4 builds on the capabilities of earlier Shelly products like the Shelly Plus 1 Gen3, with upgraded memory and an improved processor that delivers faster performance and supports more advanced scripting for greater customisation. The Gen4 series also prioritises multi-protocol compatibility. All devices in the range include WiFi, Bluetooth, Matter and Zigbee connectivity right out of the box. This means a Gen4 relay can connect directly to a standard home or office WiFi network without the need for extra hubs, or it can integrate smoothly into an existing Matter or Zigbee setup. Importantly, these protocols can operate at the same time on a single relay such as the 1 Gen4, providing an integrated, customisable and easy-to-install smart automation solution.
