IFTTT is an english acronym which stands for "If This Then That", meaning "If this happens", then "do that". After uploading IFTTT app, users are invited to create simple scenario, called “recipes,” where an event in one device or service automatically triggers an action in another.

❝For example if I say “Ok Google, Bed time” to the Google assistant, TaHoma closes all my shutters and garage door, switches the thermostat onto night mode, turns off the lights and activates the alarm.❞

Thanks to IFTTT, TaHoma enhances the smart home experience: Netatmo weather station, Bosch Connected Appliances, Google Assistant, and much more. IFTTT is a free app and web interface for automated interactions between two connected devices or services outside the SOMFY ecosystem.

This platform allows you to create automatisms between TaHoma scenarios and other brands compatible with the IFTTT, free of charge! Thousands of options to add to your smart home experience!

(The Connexoon RTS can be connected to IFTTT by via Google Assistant. Amazon Alexa can be connected via IFTTT. This is not officially supported by Somfy in the UK, only attempt this if you are confident with smart technology. Connect devices at your own risk.)
