The Aqara Smart Roller Shade Controller is an electric smart curtain motor, which can automate ordinary roller blinds, Shangri-La blinds and other curtains. It has a built-in Zigbee wireless communication module. Paired with a hub device, it can realise functions such as remote control, timing opening and closing of curtains, and smart connection of several devices.

You need to adjust the direction through “Adjust opening/closing direction of curtain” in “Settings” in the Aqara Home app.

When I press the Up button "△" on the control box, the curtain runs downward. How can I fix this problem?

Press and Hold the Stop button “||” on the control box for 5 seconds until the blue indicator light goes on and then release it. When you hear the motor short beeps three times, the motor will return to normal status after it turns forward and backward once.

After the motor has been running for a period of time, why doesn't it respond when I continue to control the curtain?

A

When the motor runs continuously for about 4 minutes, the motor will stop running and enter the overheating protection state. When the temperature returns to the appropriate level, it will work normally again (approximately 10-30 minutes to recover).

After the Aqara Roller Shade Controller connects to the app, why can't I see the control button when I enter the homepage of the app?

When the route of the motor is not set completely, the motor cannot be controlled through the app, and the homepage of the app will not display the control buttons. You need to complete the route settings according to the guideline, and then enter the Aqara Home app to control it.
